Born in Monticello, New York, but practically a Florida native, Jason moved to Florida in 1980 and attended Ramblewood Middle School and J.P. Taravalla High School in Coral Springs before obtaining his undergraduate degree in Economics from Indiana University in 1990. After returning to the sunshine state, Jason attended the University of Florida College of Law, graduating with honors in 1994, and since that time he has focused his law practice primarily in the area of insolvency, including out-of-court workouts, bankruptcy, receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors and other related commercial litigation. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Broward County Bar Association, and as treasurer of the Broward Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Jason joins Lorium Law after years of successfully managing his own firm.

Jason is admitted to practice before all Florida courts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida, the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern District of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court.

When not practicing law, Jason enjoys time with his wife and daughter and their cadre of pets, in addition to fishing, cycling, playing bass guitar, and devoting time to those who are less fortunate, serving as Chairperson of the Intercoastal Division of Children’s Home Society and as a volunteer at Broward Outreach.
