Lanie Bandell
Lanie Bandell is an attorney at Lorium focusing her practice on complex commercial litigation. Before coming to Lorium, Ms. Bandell was a prosecutor serving the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida, Broward County. As a highly experienced trial attorney with a proven record of courtroom success, Ms. Bandell tried cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies and spent her last 12 years prosecuting homicide cases. Ms. Bandell was appointed Deputy Chief of the Homicide Trial Unit where she sat first chair on cases involving capital crimes. Her experience as an Assistant State Attorney, both in her capacity as a supervisor and as a first chair litigator, ensures her ability to navigate through complex litigation matters during preparation, negotiations and in the courtroom. Lanie Bandell graduated cum laude with her B.A. from Brandeis University. She went on to receive her law degree from Nova Southeastern University-Shepard Broad College of Law, where she graduated cum laude and was an editor of the Law Review. Throughout her 22 year career as a prosecutor, Ms. Bandell was involved in many high profile cases that were covered by local and national media outlets, including Dateline-NBC. In her personal time, Ms. Bandell enjoys spending time with family, traveling and is an avid hockey fan.
